Safety Saturday….. LOLER Safety Certificates Day for Our Hot Tub Cranes
Our annual safety checks were carried out by Lifttec of Scarborough.
Rich and his staff put both our hot tub hiab cranes through their paces today with their annual LOLER safety checks. These annual checks are key for the safety of our staff, our trucks and most importantly, for the safety of our customers and their hot tubs.
The safety tests include:-
- Visual inspection of all welds and mountings
- Visual inspection of all hydraulics pipes, legs and unions
- Visible inspection of all crane parts including levers, arms and hydraulic extensions and legs
- Full operation test of cranes for slew, operational working – extension and retraction
- Safe Stowage for transport.
- Correct Safe Working load fittings and ancillary items
- Electrical emergency stops
We were very pleased to receive a full clean bill of health for both cranes so back to work on Monday !!
